These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Notaker ("we," "our," or "us"), available at notaker.co (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.


1. Use of the Service

Notaker is a document annotation, collaboration, and recording application intended for educational and professional use. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at joshua.j.bunzel@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.


3. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or import into the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant Notaker a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to upload and use it within the Service.


4. Google Drive Integration

Notaker offers an optional integration with Google Drive that allows you to import files you own or have access to. By connecting your Google Drive account, you authorize Notaker to access files you explicitly select for import, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to import any files you select. Notaker's use of Google user data is governed by the Google API Services User Data Policy.


5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Notaker. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or other proprietary materials without our prior written consent.


6. Termination and Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon requesting deletion, your account will enter a 30-day grace period. If you do not log back in within 30 days, all data associated with your account will be permanently deleted.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.


7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Notaker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.


9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
